Village Office
Village Office is opened Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Ph. (780) 855-3915 Fax. (780) 855-3916
The Village employs a part time administrator and a full time Foreman.
Fire Department and Emergency Services
The New Norway Fire Department is manned by a volunteer force. A new firetruck arrived in June 1997.
Ambulance and Police services are available from Camrose and Bashaw.
Human Services:
| New Norway is a member of Camrose and District Support Services. Nordic Villa, a senior's apartment complex is available for rent to qualifying seniors. Health and Medical Services are provided in Camrose, Bashaw, and Wetaskiwin. |  |
Business:
There is no licence required to set up business in New Norway. Some businesses may be subject to Provincial or Federal licensing.

Pets
Dogs are required to be licenced.
Water and Sewer
The Village of New Norway provides water and sewer services. The Village maintains a water treatment plant. At present the cost of this service to residents is $105.00 every two months. This includes garbage pickup services.
Power
The Village is serviced by TransAlta Utilities.
Natural Gas
Battle River Gas Co-op provides natural gas services for heating.
Telephone
Local Telephone service is provided by Telus. There are several long distance services to which residents can subscribe.

A wide variety of other recreation facilities are available within commuting distance of the Village of New Norway. Swimming, indoor ice rinks, theatre and special events are available in Camrose, Wetaskiwin, Ponoka, Leduc and Edmonton.
