NetCall Feature Reference Guide

CW – Call Waiting:

Allows the client to receive incoming calls while in an active call

• While in a call if you receive an incoming call a call waiting tone will be
heard. To answer the incoming call press the flash button on the phone, or
momentarily put the phone on the hook bu pressing the receiver.
• To deactivate this feature for all calls: press *57
• To activate this feature for all calls: press *56
• To deactivate call waiting for the next outgoing call: press *71 then dial a
number
• To activate call waiting for the next outgoing call: press *70 then dial a
number

CWCID – Call Waiting Caller ID

Displays Caller ID information for incoming secondary phone calls

• To deactivate this feature: press *45
• To activate this feature: press *25

CH – Call Hold

Client can place active phone calls on hold using a basic telephone

• To put someone on hold: press the hook-flash button
• You may make a second call while the first call is on hold
• To take the incoming call off hold, or to switch between calls: press the hookflash
button or hang up the phone and it will ring back
• If you switch back to the first call and the third party is still connected, this
will initiate a 3 way call

TWC – Three Way Calling

Client can initiate a second phone call while the first in on hold

• Place the other party on hold: press the hook-flash button
• Call the third party: Listen for dial tone then dial the number
• Once a connection is established: press the hook-flash button again to
connect all parties to the call

ACC- Ad Hoc Conference Call

Client can initiate a three party (including the client) conference call

• Place the other party on hold: press the hook-flash button
• Call the third party: listen for dial tone then dial the number
• While the third party is ringing: press the hook-flash button again to connect
the ringing line and the original phone call

CB – Call Back

Client can dial a feature code that will dial the last number to phone them

• To call the last incoming phone number: press *69
CROB – Call Return On Busy
If the client dials a number that is busy, they can instruct the ATA to repeadtedly dial
the number and notify them when the line is no longer busy
• To activate this feature: press *66
The Sipura device will retry the last dialed number for 30 minutes, when the second
party’s line rings the clients phone will sound a distinct ring to indicate the call is
going through
• To deactivate this feature: pres *86

ACB – Anonymous Call Blocking

Client has the option to block incoming calls with anonymous caller ID

• To activate this feature: press *77
• To deactivate this feature: press *87

DRT – Distinctive Ring Tone

Client has the ability to select a different ring tone for different inbound calls through
the web interface. Clients can enable and disable the distinctive ring tone feature by
dialing the feature codes from their handset.

• To activate this feature: press *26
• To deactivate this feature: press *46

SD – Speed Dialing

Client can configure up to 8 speed dialing entries which they can access by dialing a
feature code on their handset.

• To set a speed dial number: dial *74 and wait for the tone to change, then
dial the speed dial number you wish to add (2-9). Then dial the number you
wish to assign to the speed dial number. After dialing press the # button or
wait until you hear 2 short beeps
• To use a speed dial number: press the speed dial number (2-9) of your
assigned speed dial followed by the # button

DND – Do No Disturb

Client can put the phone into a DND mode where all incoming calls will be silently
ignored.

• To activate this feature: press *78
• To deactivate this feature: press *79

ALOC – Accept Last Outgoing Call

While DND is enabled, accept incoming calls from the last number that was dialed.

• To activate this feature: press *64
• To deactivate this feature: press *84

PCS – Preferred Codec Selection

Client can dial a feature code before dialing outbound number to prioritize certain
codecs (G711, G729, G723 etc).

• To give G711U codec higher priority: press *01711
• To give G729 code higher priority: press *01729
• To give G723 code higher priority: press *01723

MLT – Modem Line Toggling

Client can dial a feature code to put the line into “modem mode” which tweaks
certain call characteristics to optimize analog modem/fax usage. (Forces G711,
Increases Minimum Jitter Buffer, Disables Echo Cancellation, Disables Call-Waiting).

• To enable this feature: press *99, wait for the dial tone then dial the number

CB – Call Blocking

Client has a limited blocking ability; client can block last received calling number.

• To activate this feature: press *60
• To deactivate this feature: press *80

Other Features that don’t require client interaction:

CLN – Call Hold Notification

Client can set configuration variable that will notify them if they put the phone onhook
while a call is on hold.

MOH – Music On Hold

Provider can provide access to MOH service that can be configurable on a per0user
basis or non-unique across the entire customer base.

SAS – Streaming Audio Source

ATA can be used to receive calls only and stream RTP packets from an audio source
attached to the FXS port.

MWI – Message While Waiting

Plays a stuttered dial tone when new voice mail is received on the associated
account. Can be configured to ring the phone once when new voice mail arrives.

VM – Voice Mail

Can be configured to forward client to their associated mail box by dialing their local
number. The Number for Camrose to dial Voice Mail is *40.
